Introducing Our 2026 Keynote Guest Speaker
Dr. Veronica M. Jones, MD
Assistant Professor of Surgical Oncology, UK Markey Cancer Center
We are profoundly honored to welcome Dr. Veronica Jones, MD, as our keynote speaker for this year’s Pink Out Gala.
As an Assistant Professor of Surgical Oncology at the UK Markey Cancer Center, Dr. Jones is a leading voice in the fight against breast cancer. She earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and went on to complete an elite breast surgical oncology fellowship at the world-renowned Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Today, her pioneering work at Markey’s Comprehensive Breast Care Center focuses on improving surgical outcomes and directly dismantling the healthcare disparities that affect women of color. Dr. Jones brings a brilliant blend of cutting-edge clinical expertise and a deep, personal commitment to protecting the wellness of our sisterhood across the Bluegrass.
